The Power Of The Relationships To Build a 6-Figure Business Online

Never underestimate the power and the value of just 1 relationships to change your business and your life forever. As online entrepreneurs we often chase the big numbers, how big of an email list we are building and how many customers we have and we often forget that your email list, your subscribers, your fans, your followers are PEOPLE with hearts, hopes, dreams, desires. 

Success in your online business is going to be completely dependent on how many individual people in your niche TRUST you, LIKE you, FEEL like they KNOW you, and how good of a relationships you have built with them. 

Each person is IMPORTANT. Each connection is super VALUABLE. Your email list is not a list of names and email addresses. Those are PEOPLE living their unique lives.

Thanks to the Internet we can build relationships with hundreds and thousands of people simultaneously. Think about creating a video with your story and having thousands of people watching it.

Think about people who have seen 5, 10, 20, 100 of your videos? Think about people who watched 1, 3, 10, 50 of your webinars?

You can have people who feel like they are your best friend and know everything about you even though you never spoke before! I have people come up to me at LIVE events and talking to me like they have known me for years because they watched a lot of my videos.

There is power in SCALE and in big numbers, obviously if you have thousands of followers and fans you cannot possibly interact one on one with all of the people, you don’t have enough time in the day.

However there is a magical power in building relationships with people one on one.

Imagine having 10 new friends every day, 10 new real connections, 10 powerful conversations with 10 new people who you help. If you do it day after day and add 10 new real people to your email list, at the end of the year you will have 3,650 friends on your list, very responsive to you. 

A good way to manage all of those relationships is using Customer Relationships Manager. You can add people manually, you can give rating to your prospects, you can send emails to them based on different templates, you can schedule tasks, you can record all of your conversations with your prospects. Powerful. 

There are 3 types of markets: 

Hot Market – Those are the people who know you well, your friends and family. Even though they know you well doesn’t mean they are HOT prospects, because they are probably not in the right business mindset and they are not in a position and desire to change their lives. 

Cold Market – Those people have no idea who you are, they are strangers who never met you and never knew you exist. Your goal is turn those people into your warm market

Warm Market – Those are the people who once didn’t know you, but they met you online, they watched your videos, they read your emails, they watched your hangouts and they warmed up to you and they now know, like and trust you. 

It’s possible to have 5,000+ people who are all in your warm market. How? By being consistent in your communication. By shooting videos and providing value. By teaching and educating. By being real, honest and social. 

You don’t have to have a big email list. You can go slow and add 5-10 quality people you have connected with to your email list every day. Then inform and entertain them, build relationships. 

They will see you as human. They will be ok with sending you a message on Facebook or even giving you a call. 

It’s OK to connect with people one on one. We don’t want to be chasing people. We want to be this person who is generous enough and want to connect and help and people will come to you. Have them feel valued and important. 
 
Think about the Golden rule. Treat people like you want to be treated.
 
Think about it this way. Every day you work hard to make new friends. It doesn’t even sound right, because it’s not hard work isn’t it. You are connecting with people. You are ALIVE.

    Every single person whether you know them or not, family or not is a COLD PROSPECT for your business…We just place them on a specific list so we know how to approach tem to share whatever we feel they may need or could benefit their lives.

    And as you say Vitaliy, our relationship with such people known or “e-friends” will determine whether they listen to us or not! So we must build relationships they have power in them to help us with our Vision and journeys.

    Thanks for such a great post today Vitaliy. Building relationships is so important. I was at an event recently and we were taught that when presenting anything, it doesn’t matter if only one person turns up, do it well.
    You never know who you are impacting or inspiring and building up trust with all our followers is important.
