In both situations, you’re being offered something for free. Free moves people and gets them to act because there is no risk involved. But you don’t get what was promised. But you know it doesn’t have to be this way. You can help more people, you can solve people’s problems, add more value and truly change people’s lives with y or awesome products and services, if you knew how to sell more.
Today consumers are much more savvy, there are many options, everything is transparent on social media. People want to know you truly care about them and their problems. You need to build relationships first, give value first and sell later.

Only around 5% of the people are ready to buy what you are selling right now, because they already desire it and trust the solution. But most people, are waiting on sidelines and not buying for a variety of reasons. Maybe they don’t know like and trust you yet, the desire is not high enough, they may be skeptical that you are for real.
If you are trying to hard sell people without first building relationships, adding value, raising the levels of desires and trust, then you are going to push people away and they are never going to buy.
