I was reading a book recently called “Fanatical Prospecting” by Jeb Blount and he was saying that whenever you feel there your business is in downward spiral, you lost motivation, the sales numbers are low, that’s when you can see you stopped prospecting. You missed a day, 2 or a week, or maybe entire month.
I felt it in my business when I stopped prospecting I got less people that were signing up to my business. When I was prospecting I signed up 1 – 5 people a day.
So the rule is ALWAYS BE PROSPECTING.
The more successful you are the easier it is to prospect. People will come to you with their credit card in hand ready to join you. They just need to talk to you for a minute and have some basic questions answered.
It’s very easy to prospect on Facebook and Social Media. You can easily find targeted people to talk to and start a conversation, people who are liking, commenting or sharing your content, people in specific groups and fan pages.
Prospecting is basically sending a message and interrupting someone’s day. Connecting with them and find out about their struggles and pains and help them in their business.
You can see on Facebook their profile picture, their Facebook cover, what kind of images, videos, posts they are posting on their wall and based on that you can choose whether or not you want to connect with this person.
It’s as simple as that.
